What are ADEMS?

(Assembly District Election Meetings) Every two years the California State Democratic Party elects one third of their voting members or delegates. These elections are happening in 2025. Delegates help elect party leadership, set the party platform, rules, resolutions and vote on all-important party endorsements - for legislation and for local and state offices.

Our Platform

Forward 55 is a coalition of progressive candidates focused on creating an inclusive economy, promoting social justice, and ensuring that the voices of our most vulnerable communities are heard. Together, we’re committed to policies that address our housing and homelessness crisis, prioritize workers' rights, healthcare for all, and climate justice. We oppose a return to failed policies that criminalize poverty. We believe that building safe and sustainable transportation infrastructure is critical to improving public safety and to addressing our housing and climate emergencies.  The candidates of the Forward 55 believe that Democrats should be the party that represents all of the people, a party that serves the needs of the poor and working class – not a party working for millionaires and billionaires.
